IF YOU'D like to introduce your children to classical musical, The Magic Flute is the way, and this is your chance to win tickets plus overnight accommodation in Brisbane.

Novotel Brisbane and QPAC are offering a lucky family a magical weekend getaway including overnight accommodation on June 2 for two adults and two children, buffet breakfast and tickets to The Magic Flute's matinee performance on Saturday, June 2, at 1pm.

The Lyric Theatre at Brisbane's Queensland Performing Arts Centre will soon become home to a world where animals dance and children fly, where princes battle dragons and hope battles despair. It is a world where ideas matter, and music saves the day.

Welcome to Mozart's enchanting world of The Magic Flute.

Disney's Director of the Lion King, Julie Taymor, has turned Mozart's work into a landmark production which not only delights adults but also introduces younger generations to the unique beauty of opera.

Reproduced by Opera Australia from The Metropolitan Opera New York's original production, this magnificent performance will captivate audiences both young and old from May 26 until June 8.

To coincide with the arrival of Mozart's latest production, Novotel Brisbane offers the perfect family- friendly environment with the hotel treating children as their special little guests.

Up to two children (aged newborn to 15 years) stay free when sharing a room with their parents or grandparents, and when dining with an adult enjoy complimentary buffet breakfast any day of the week.

CHANCE TO WIN

To win this family prize, write in 25 words or fewer why your family deserves it.

Send your entries to ann.rickard@scnews.com.au by noon on Monday.
