Life gets louder for Ipswich mum

ROSEWOOD'S Sarah Grimes could not have picked a better time to visit Radio Rentals.

The 30-year-old mother of five visited the Ipswich store for some home essentials but ended up getting much more than she bargained for.

As Ms Grimes made her transaction that day, she didn't realise she had just become the store's 100,000th customer.

And to mark the milestone, the household goods rental company presented her with a home theatre system worth more than $1400.

"My whole family was so excited," Ms Grimes said. "The children love listening to their music and this home theatre system was such a nice surprise."

Radio Rentals general manager James Marshall thanked Ms Grimes for helping Radio Rentals achieve the monumental milestone.

"It's important to celebrate occasions like this and take stock of our customers and great staff," Mr Marshall said.

The company marked another historic moment recently, with the opening of its 84th Australian store in Redbank late last year.

Mr Marshall said the new store had already received a lot of attention from people within the community.
