WATERWORX Swim Club star, Christopher Weaver could teach the Duracell Bunny a thing or two about never giving up.

The 16-year-old will attempt to compete in a whopping 11 events at the 2010 Queensland School Sport Swimming Championships after enjoying enormous success at the Metropolitan West School’s regional swimming trials, which were held a fortnight ago in Chandler.

The Springfield-based Waterworx club swimmer will be competing in the boys’ 17-19 category at the three-day state school championships, which begins next Thursday at the Sleeman Swimming Centre.

He will be joined by 11 of his club mates in representing Metropolitan West, while three Waterworx members will be racing under the South Coast Region banner and two swimmers will be flying the Metropolitan East flag.
