THE Workshops Rail Museum’s Toyland Express will return for the Easter holidays from March 27 to April 18.

The event specifically explores the role of trains in children’s play from the mid 19th century until today through books, music and toys, while reintroducing childhood favourites including dolls, teddy bears and toy soldiers.

Activities include making your own Toyland inspired artwork using recycled materials, reading much-loved children’s books in the Book Treasures Library, a display of historical train toys, storytelling with The Workshops Conductor, and delving into a world of fun in the Toy Box.
