Businesses get dirty

FRIDGES, ovens and even a double bed – this was just some of the rubbish about 40 employees from four businesses in Synergy Park (in the Carole Park Industrial area) cleaned up on Tuesday morning.

As part of Clean Up Australia Day, the volunteers rolled up their sleeves and set to work on Sandy Creek, known for being a hotspot for hoons and vandalism.

But after only an hour of work, the area was looking much nicer, with enough litter picked up to fill three skip bins.

The morning was an initiative of the Wolston and Centenary Catchments group.
