A LIVE Free Walk will be held at Forest Lake on April 17 to raise money for the first girl’s home to be built and run by Teen Challenge.
The Teen Challenge Young Women’s Residential Treatment Centre, which will be based in Toowoomba, has the aim of seeing young women living free of alcohol and drug dependence.
Springfield Christian Family pastor, Deborah van Bennekom, said they expected this would be the first of more Teen Challenge Homes for girls in Queensland.
If you would like to participate in the walk in Forest Lake, early bird registration, which includes a t-shirt, is $20 and closes on March 24.
After March 24, the registration is still $20 but there is no free t-shirt.
• If you would like to register you can at the Live Free Walk website at http://www.teenchallenge. org.au/index.php?page=live -free-walk.
