Waterworx performs well

WATERWORX Swim Club member Megan Gianotti continues to go from strength to strength after claiming another personal best swim in the 200m butterfly at the Victorian Open Swimming Championships in Melbourne.

The 15-year-old surged into third place behind British pair Jessica Dickens, 21, and Elen Gandy, 20, after a strong final 50m.

Montana Sansby, 18, and Drew Mitchell, 22, can also be happy with their performances, after both making the finals.

Sansby placed 7th in the 200m breaststroke, while Mitchell also touched the wall in 7th place in the 200m butterfly.

Mitchell's younger brother Luke, 17, also enjoyed success achieving a personal best in the 100m butterfly.

Ian Thorpe, Brenton Rickard, Yolane Kukla and Matt Target were just some of the big names at the meet.
