SHE is only six years old but Eden Wood, dubbed "the prettiest little girl in America", works a red carpet like a showbiz pro and has Sydney in her sights ... for the right price.
Given her hectic schedule and diva-like demands, perhaps the little girl with a penchant for stacked heels, lip gloss, ostrich feathers and fake tan should include the slightly tortured Donna Summer disco classic She Works Hard for the Money in her routine. But then again, it already features her smash hit number Cutie Patootie.
Last Sunday The Sun-Herald reported on the public outcry being generated by little Eden and the child beauty pageants that are about to be launched in Australia.
Eden is bringing her "Las Vegas Showgirl Routine", complete with bags of plumage and sequins, to Australia as part of the first US-style beauty pageant for small children, to be held in Melbourne on July 29 and 30.
But Eden's US management and her mother, Mickie, are keen to include Sydney in the tour. Her agent has put feelers out for any deals to get the pint-sized showgirl to appear here.
